Watch Adjustment
Automatic Winding
Arcaido watches work without a battery. They receive the energy they need through the automatic winding mechanism of the movement. An Arcaido watch worn regularly on the wrist every day does not require manual winding. If it is not worn for approximately 38 hours, it will stop. When the watch needs to be wound, gently turn the crown clockwise at least a dozen times.
Crown Position
Arcaido watches are equipped with a screw-down crown. Before using its functions, the crown must be unscrewed. Turn the crown counterclockwise until it is no longer engaged with the thread. The crown can now be used. Once the adjustment is complete, the crown must be screwed back in securely.
Screw-Down Crown
The positions described below apply to most watches.
Warning: the watch is water-resistant only when the crown is correctly screwed down.
